Four Rotating 30-Minute Tours:
Students rotate through four immersive STEM experiences, exposing them to hands-on innovation, applied engineering, and future-focused career pathways.

1. Gizmo Makerspace (Coeur d’Alene)
Explore Northern Idaho’s premier makerspace and innovation hub. Students will see rapid prototyping, digital fabrication, and collaborative problem-solving in action while learning how makerspaces support entrepreneurs, students, and industry.

2. Spokane Public Schools – Career & Technical Education (CTE)
Discover how Spokane’s CTE programs prepare students for high-demand careers through applied learning in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, and advanced technologies. Highlights include pathways from high school to industry certifications and postsecondary education.

3. NIC Workforce Training & X-Labs
Experience NIC’s X-Labs, where industry, education, and innovation intersect. Students will learn how X-Labs supports advanced manufacturing, applied research, prototyping, and workforce development aligned with regional employer needs.

4. University of Idaho – Robotics, AI & Automation
Explore cutting-edge research from the University of Idaho’s Intelligent Industrial Robotics and Automation programs. Students will see real-world applications of robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation used in modern manufacturing and industrial systems.
